As Lead Visual Designer at DigitalOcean, I was in charge of managing and art directing a massive marketing campaign that included a complete website redesign, ads, and brand videos. The purpose of the redesign was to position DigitalOcean upmarket, and target their business-high customers more directly. I accomplished this by revamping the illustration style, introducing a darker page themes, and unifying the visual language associated with each product offering. In addition to managing the project, I was responsible for conceptualizing art direction, executing illustrations, and collaborating closely with DigitalOcean’s in-house web designer, Brian Golatka. I worked closely with product designers to assure that the marketing site best represented the product experience.
